No Name Summer Camp

Yo! I haven't posted for a while...I have been camping on the Oregon coast with the HS youth group from my church. Good times. I am really tired from the whole week, but I had an awesome time. I got to share a tent with 4 crazy girls that were a ton of fun, I learned to skim board, I boogie boarded, I got to dress up like a pirate...there is a lot more stuff, but it would take forever to talk about everything. The water was freezing cold! But I figured out that if you skim board for at least half an hour (which involves a lot of running around), you become very warm and then jumping in the ocean doesn't sound so bad. So on your way in you grab a boogie board and do that for about an hour. You then become very numb and pink and don't even realize you have turned into an ice cube. When you get out, you run from the beach back to camp and jump in a warm shower and thaw. It works quite well.

I am ashamed to say that I went and paid to see A Cinderella Story. Amy, it wasn't a good movie. You need to stop living in your Hilary Duff dream world. :) Anyways, Amy, Tara and I went to see it dressed up in full princess attire. Yes, that meant that we had on our prom dresses and Amy and Tara made crowns out of foil and glued buttons on for jewels. It was pretty funny. Not to mention that the theatre we went to had the longest line ever and we knew multiple people in it. The only cool thing about the movie was that I knew one of the extras in it. If any of you go see it, look for a guy dressed in a shark costume at the Halloween dance. He appears multiple times.

Wow... I think the humiliation factor would have been rather high seeing people you knew while decked out in the princess attire.... hahaha
