This is what Mbaye always says to me. He is my Senegalese friend who has spent hours upon hours helping me transcribe interviews.
The president of Senegal said this to encourage the people to help the country advance. Translated roughly it means:
You must work
Always work
Work a lot
And work some more!
I have been working for hours on this paper. It is taking forever. I will be up late tonight. Yay!

Whatever - we're excited about seeing you in a week or two and it's obvious you can't sleep because you're already shifting into Pacific Daylight time.
Hope your sojourn in the cote is nice and that you have a good trip home.
