My New Tape Player
Last night my mom called me. This was how the conversation went:
Mom: So, Grandma and Grandpa got you a tape player.
Me: A what?
Mom: A tape player.
Me: Why did they get me a tape player? I don't listen to tapes anymore...in fact I don't think I have any tapes.
Mom: Oh, well they got you one. It's blue and grey. But, it's at their house in Shelton.
Me: Oh, ok.
Mom: It's pretty big though so you might have to come get it with me. I'm gonna need some help.
Me; What?
Mom: Yeah, I guess it has four wheels too.
Me: Oh my gosh! They got me a car?!!!!!!
I am super excited about this. I have never had my own car, so to have my grandparents just buy a car for me is like the coolest thing ever. The guy who owned it was 90 years old and his son didn't want him to drive anymore. In fact, he wanted to get rid of the car as soon as possible, so it worked out perfect!
This quarter is by far the hardest one yet. I feel soooo overwhelmed with school and life. It'll be ok, but sometimes it really doesn't feel that way.
