I wrote this in the future...

Missions Fest was good this year. I went to a few seminars on Bible translation, although at one of them, basically all the guy did was explain what linguistics is. Yeah...kinda already knew that, but it was cool cause he would put example problems on the board having to do with phonology and I knew the answers. He guessed I had taken some ling classes before. He teaches at CanIL (Canada Instititute of Linguistics) at Trintiy Western University where I am looking at grad school. I talked to two grad students today who go there and they really like it. Sounds super cool! Only downfall...it's in Canada. :) But they said about 40% of the students are American, plus there are lots of Norwegians and Koreans or something.

Jessica, Tom, Kevin and I had no problem getting there but finding our car in the parking garage was quite a challenge. We walked around the whole level looking for it. Nowhere. That was when we realized we were in the wrong parking garage. GO us.

I went to one really cool seminar that tons of people decided to go to also. I ended up on the floor with a bunch of other younger people, but anyways, the speaker has traveled a lot doing missions and had some awesome stories to tell. Ask me about them if you see me cause I would love to tell you.

While I was typing this, my little sister Janelle noticed that you can set the time and date of the post. She said, "you can write in the future? Cool!" So I set it to a random time and date in 2006.

Internet time travel?

This is the Temporal Police, we must insist that you limit your attempts at changing history to only recent PAST history. Thank you for your cooperation comrade.
