Splash
I thought this would be a good title cause it has to do with 2 things this week. Splash, the MS summer camp at my church is happenin' in eastern Washington. I wanted to go, but alas, I must work. My mom is the cook for the week so she got to go and since Janelle is in MS she went too! It's just me, Julia and my dad in the house for the rest of the week. Also, I learned some cool new boat terminology!!! So exciting I know. I got the more common stuff down like port, starboard, aft, head, galley...but this new term I learned just yesterday...SPLASH! Anyone heard of it before? If you had taken a boat out of the water to do something like clean or fix it, when you put it back into the water you would be splashing it. Seems logical. Anyway, just thought I would share what I learned with you.
So I guess I need to be better at posting, especially when Annie is in Seattle, so we can know what is going on. Sorry Annie, I will try to do better. But you are in town right now so does that mean I don't have to post?
I have to work a lot tomorrow, I am not looking forward to it. I will most likely be cleaning boats from 9:30 in the morning till 8 at night. Maybe there will be some miracle and I will get done sooner than that. I belive in miracles! I do believe in fairies, I do, I do!!
26 days till I head off to the other side of the world for a semester. Craziness. I am not anywhere close to being ready. Oh well!
Should I get a headdress like this in Senegal?

Yes you should get a headdress like that.... it would be stunning. Plus, with such a beautiful headdress on such beautiful hair, the prince of Senegal would probably propose to you and then you would become the princess of Senegal. All because of the headdress.... just don't forget us "little people" when you become royal in your headdress..... and please make sure to put pink beads on your headdress in remembrence of me. Thank you.
Uhhh, Jamie... I can't believe you are actually waiting to get a headdress in senegal!! Didn't you know that it is on the packing list??? I got mine 3 weeks ago. It's pretty fancy. I kinda splurged a bit on it, but I figure it is worth it. Anyway, yeah, I really recommend that you don't wait to get yours... I mean you do want to fit in right from the start, right? I'm planning on wearing mine on the airplane over, that way when I step off the plane onto Senegalese soil, I will immediately be one step closer to embracing the culture. I suggest that you do the same.
yes.
That's so awesome that you get to go to Senegal! Your heart is so big; I hope God uses this to enlarge it even more. Not your literal physical heart. But yah...um.
