Mes amis me manquent

I just called Senegal and got to talk to a bunch of my friends there. It was so great to talk to them. We talked in French and a little bit of Wolof but they all wished me a Happy New Year in English. Mbaye said he was sending Amy and me a million planes of kisses (bisous...meaning kisses on the cheek). Amy, he made me promise to tell you this. He also said there were going to be so many planes that there would be a traffic jam in the sky. Craziness.

I was scared to talk in French on the phone but it turned out to be no big deal. Oh, Mbaye also told me to say hi to my family for him and to Seattle. I asked him how I was supposed to say hi to Seattle and he told me to get on tv and do it. Don't think that's really possible, so my blog will have to be the next best thing.
