Proverbs 4:18

11 more days...

It's Marissa's 21st Birthday on Monday. Everyone should call/email her and wish her a Happy Birthday. I kinda just want to put her cell number on here but I don't think she'd appreciate that. :)

The concert was awesome. I love Bebo and Shawn. You all should love them too. We got to the concert just before it started but somehow scored seats in the second row. Then some people right in front of us left half way through, so we got to sit in the front row. It was pretty sweet.

I've been spending hours and hours trying to write a paper on the phonology of Igbo. Anyone know where they speak that language? It's really complicated cause it's a tonal language. I'm have a lot of trouble figuring some stuff out. I gotta get this paper done by Wednesday! Aaaahhhh! I know it will all be OK though.

Obviously, Igbo is a language spoken in Nigeria by about 18 million speakers. The language was used by John Goldsmith as an example to justify going away from the classical linear model of phonology as laid out in The Sound Pattern of English.
And finally:
Nnggh clk! moooo ruff ruff !ommmmmm
waaaw.

More Igbo:

"Pink pajamas, penguins on the bottom, pink pajamas, penguins on the bottom."

A classic neo-linear phonology unless you sing it backwards :

"Mottob eht No sniugpen, mottob eht no sniugpen!"

Then, it is really more neo-classic.

No, really, no need to thank me! :)
