Have an Ice Day!
Yesterday I did not work until 8pm...I worked until 9!!!!!! That is a crazy long time to clean boats. 11.5 hours. I don't reccommend it. Seeing as I was dreading going to work on Friday, it really wasn't all that bad. It rained and I was soaking wet, but the weather was so cool. The clouds kept changing and then the sun would break through for a few minutes and then the wind would howl. It was awesome. Plus I got to go far away from everyone else to a different gate and clean a powerboat and listen to music really loud. One of my jobs at San Juan Sailing is to deliver ice to the charter guests. So I had 30 boats on my list and had delivered all but about 10 bags of ice. I pull up to gate 5 in my family's cool minivan and park in a NO PARKING zone cause I needed to unload the rest of the ice into a dock cart. This would be the part where I lock my keys in the car with all the ice still in it. Go me. It ended up being ok cause my dad was at home and quickly drove down with another key before the ice melted all over the car.
I am so excited cause I am going to Vashon tomorrow for two days and Holly, Marissa and I (Hol, Ma & Ja) are going to hang out just like the good old days! Then, Tuesday I am going to Seattle to hang out with Annie until Wednesday night. It is gonna be great. If anyone is gonna be around Seattle, let me know cause I will have some time to hang out while Annie is at work.
Ma and I were talking today about how we once sang this song to Holly....
I can see what's happening
What?
And they don't have a clue
Who?
They fall in love and here's the bottom line
Our trio's down to two
Oh :(
