Pictures
So I know I have not put any pics on here with the digital camera I brought. One reason is cause I have not taken very many pics with it (I have been using a regular camera), another reason is cause it is hard to find a cyber cafe that you can do it at, and a last reason is that someone stole the camera. Don't worry Dad! We got your camera back! And it is working fine. It is a pretty funny story about how it got stolen but unfortunately I don't have the time to tell it now. I will try to write about it later.
If you go to http://community.webshots.com/photo/198288687/198321537IcFhbW you should be able to see a pic of me dancing in Keur Sadaro, the village we stayed in for 4 days.
We leave Monday morning for Kedougou, a small town in SE Senegal. It is a 12 hour drive there! But according to a guy from WA who lives there right now, it is the closest you come to the NW in Sengal. He says there are lots of green trees, "mountains", and even a waterfall. I am excited. This guy has been living in Kedougou with his family for 6 years doing prep work for Bible translation there. I get to visit him and see what they have been doing. Should be interesting!
Hope everyone is doing well. I love hearing from everyone!

Great photo of you shaking your Jay Flambe! Don't worry about camera. If you want, send the chip back and I will post the pics on my web site so you could paste them into your blog. The camera is old technology anyway so better if you get it stolen, then I can buy a new one!
Daddyo
Jamie, This is SUCH a great picture! Your eyes and smile tell all! I can't wait to see you when you get home and hear all these wonderful stories in person, although you do a fantastic job of describing your present world on you blogs! Look for more mail soon! :)
Love, Ridgely
Your dada has a good point. When you get back, I'm stealing your camera!
hey Jamie! Hope all continues to be awesome for you. So this is the game: Every time you answer a question with the word "Mine" as the answer, you owe 10 push ups. Serious! Its kinda a game to get rid of the self possesion ideas. Try it, eh?
I hope you see a monkey today. I don't think they have monkeys in Senegal, but maybe they do. And maybe you'll see one.
Ok have a wicked sweet halloween!
Jamie, you finally got to see a monkey! The famous Lolo? Very cool story.
From Senegal co-traveler Amy's blog...
"Oh wait!! I almost forgot!! After icecream (around midnight) Jamie and I were telling mBaye how much we like monkies. mBaye told us that there is a famous comedian who has a television show that rides around on a moped with his famous little pet monkey named LoLo. He then proceeded to take us to this guys house at midnight so we could see the monkey and meet the family!!!...HOW COOL IS THAT???!"
cool pictures, ja! we all miss you a lot!
