Naka nga def?
Mangi fi rekk.
Hello all. I haven't even been here a week but it feels like I have been here for ages! No joke. The first couple days have been pretty rough, but things are looking better. I move into my homestay family on wednesday. I guess my family is huge. I asked my "sister" how many people lived there and she said there were so many she didn't know. Craziness. Brothers and sistes, husbands and wives, grandma, uncles. Lots of people.
Today I went to Village Artisanal. It is basically a bunch of people selling things they have made like carvings, jewelry, bags, shoes, wallets. It was pretty cool. Since I am American, everyone thinks I have tons of money, which I guess I do compared to them, and they all wanted me to buy what they had. They were practically pulling me into each stand. The people here are so friendly. While I looked they would fan me to cool me down cause it is very hot and humid.
I gotta run catch a cab to our classroom right now. The drivers here are crazy. Anyways, hope everyone is doing well. I will try to keep updating as often as I can.
